Magazine Title and what to Include;

The next stage of the magazine cover process was to decide on a title for it which would demonstrate that it is a film specific magazine. It needs to be quite short, preferably one word, which makes it easier to remember and creates impact.We mind mapped a few ideas before deciding on one official title, this is so that every member of the group has a say in an idea, and then we have a selection to look through and choose which one would be most appropriate.

The titles we came up with;
- Up-Coming
- Catch Up
- Coming Soon
- Just
- Latest
- Weekly Thrills
- Thriller Week
- Film Times

We decided on 'Latest' this is because it is simple and easy for the audience to remember, making them not forget the name thus leading them to keep buying the magazine. it is also relevant, as the magazine will be dedicated to films and new released films or ones that will be coming out. This title, we think, would look best on the front cover of a magazine, and is in itself an effective title. Some of the other titles we came up with, such as 'weekly thrills' and 'thriller week'  would be used for a magazine which is specifically for thriller films, which at first we thought would be appropriate as our film is a thriller, but then later decided that we wanted our magazine to be for all film genre's, making 'Latest' a good choice.

The next task was to decide what we should include in our magazine cover. I used what I had seen from the deconstructions of the existing magazine covers to help me think what is vital to include and what we think would look good on the cover.

Things to include were:
-Bar code
-Price
-Date
-Image of actress
-Title of magazine
-Title of film
-Tag line for our film
-What's included inside the magazine
-Small picture of the main character
-Company logo
-Website

These are all things which are either useful or needed for a magazine cover, so as a group decided to include these factors.
